Jujutsu Kaisen Anime Releases First Key Visual!

Upcoming anime Jujutsu Kaisen has released its first key visual!

The visual features protagonist Yuji and Sukuna, the King of Curses, standing in front of the Malevolent Shrine.

Original author Akutami Gege has released an illustrated statement. Telling fans that he had gotten a sneak peak at storyboards from episode one, he also assured otaku that they should be drooling with anticipation.

Director Park Sunghoo commented that he would do his best to elevate the work to even greater heights through the anime with the essence of the original mangas characters and the casts acting, also including an illustration.

Serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump since Mar. 2018, Jujutsu Kaisen follows an unnaturally athletic high schooler named Itadori Yuji. After he joins his schools occult club, he unwittingly comes in contact with a cursed talisman and finds himself possessed by an evil spirit.

Jujutsu Kaisen is slated to air in Oct. 2020.
